I make sculptures that explore this duality as I sculpt about the moments that define our lives, the ones that are gone in an instant, the fact that our energy ebbs and flows and hope fluctuates. I make sculptures that mix materials- resonating inwardly with permanence and impermanence. Others move and change as you interact with them. Still others serve as a static reminder of the moments in which we transcended our limitations.
